Our Team 

Dr. Skylar Carstairs grew up in Sebastian, Florida, where her love for animals began at an early age. Surrounded by dogs, horses, and a variety of exotic pets, she knew from childhood that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She pursued her passion at the University of Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, proudly becoming a Double Gator. After completing her education, Dr. Carstairs returned to Florida's east coast to practice veterinary medicine here in Jacksonville, FL. Outside of the clinic, you'll often find her enjoying the beach or boat days, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with friends and family.
