Our Team 

Hello! I'm Dr. Chris Payne and I am so excited to be joining the Forever Vets family! I grew up outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to the northeast for my undergraduate and veterinary training. I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's in Marine Science and received my DVM degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. I love aquatic medicine and am a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian (CertAqV) through the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association (WAVMA). Outside of aquatics, my professional interests are preventative care, ultrasound, and internal medicine. In my free time, you can find me at the nearest aquarium, spending time in or around the ocean, or getting way too competitive at board game nights.
