Fecal & Deworming

Deworming your pet on a consistent basis is important especially for young kittens and puppies. This will protect your fur babies from horrifying parasites invading their little bodies. Have your pets checked for worms at age 3 weeks and begin a regular deworming regiment. Adult cats and dogs can be tested for worms twice a year and dewormed if necessary.

The most common worms in dogs and cats are hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and whipworms and will bring harm to your pet in several ways. Although signs of worms in dogs and cats can be related to another illness, it's better to be safe and have your pet examined by our veterinarian. Diagnosing worms in your pet is a simple exam performed in our laboratory using your pet's stool sample.
