Blood Pressure
Screenings

Blood pressure screenings measure the pressure of blood against the walls of large arteries. It's a non-invasive procedure, and allows the veterinarian to determine whether your pet has high blood pressure. High blood pressure can be indicative of an underlying disease such as hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, Cushing's disease, or diabetes. Prescription medications may be necessary if your pet exhibits high blood pressure.
