A ninth-generation Floridian, she earned both a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. Dr. Lassiter has a soft spot for German Shepherds and enjoys horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her dogs.
